What we collect, how we use it, and the controls you have.

Overview
GoCheckAI is an independent informational and recovery-assistance tool that helps people respond to online scams. This policy explains what information we handle, how we use it, and the choices you have. We designed GoCheckAI with a privacy-first principle: we never ask you for passwords, one-time passwords (OTPs), PINs, CVV numbers, recovery or seed phrases, or full banking credentials.
Information we never ask for
You should never enter the following into GoCheckAI, and we do not want you to store them as evidence:
- Passwords or passphrases for any account
- OTPs, 2FA codes, or PINs
- Card CVV numbers or full card numbers
- Crypto recovery phrases or private keys
- Full internet banking login credentials
Information you provide
When you use the scam checker, you may paste a message, link, email, phone number, or payment request for analysis. When you create an account and use the Incident Tracker and Evidence Vault, you may save incident details, recovery checklists, and evidence such as screenshots, links, phone numbers, transaction IDs, and notes. This data is associated with your account so you can track and manage your recovery over time.
How we use information
- To generate a personalized, country-specific response plan.
- To provide scam-detection analysis of content you choose to check.
- To let you save, track, and organize incidents and evidence.
- To improve the quality and accuracy of our guidance over time.
Storage and retention
Your account data is stored securely with our platform provider. Your saved incidents and evidence remain accessible to you for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual incidents or evidence items at any time, and deleting your account removes your associated data.
Your controls
- Create or delete incidents and evidence at any time.
- Choose what to paste into the scam checker — you are never required to share sensitive credentials.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.

GoCheckAI uses essential cookies and standard analytics to understand how the site is used and to improve it. We do not sell your data.
