Universal safe steps (any country)
- Stop all contact with the scammer. Do not send more money.
- Call your bank or payment app immediately to freeze/block and dispute.
- Change compromised passwords and enable two-factor authentication.
- Screenshot all messages, links, and transaction IDs as evidence.
- Report to your country's official cybercrime authority (below).
- Never pay anyone who promises guaranteed recovery for an upfront fee — that is a second scam.
